What is AI visibility tracking?
AI visibility tracking is the continuous measurement of how often AI models name your brand across a defined set of prompts.
We ask the same prompts every day and measure how often AI names your brand. It is sometimes called LLM tracking.
- 01
Your visibility
The share of answers that name your brand.
- 02
By model
See how your visibility changes from one model to the next.
All models → - 03
By topic and stage
See which topics, funnel stages and tags AI names you for, and where it does not.
- 04
Against competitors
The same score for every competitor you track, so you can see who AI names more often.
Share of voice and citations are measured separately: see AI share of voice and AI citation tracking.
How is AI visibility measured?
Visibility is the number of answers that name your brand, divided by the number of answers collected, for a given day, model and prompt set.
ExampleOn a plan with all seven models, 60 tracked prompts give 420 answers a day. If 126 of them name your brand, your visibility that day is 30%. Run it again tomorrow and the number moves, which is why the trend matters more than any single day.
How we measure AI visibility →How do you track AI visibility?
Choose your prompts.
Start from the questions your customers ask about your category. We can write the prompts for you, or you can upload your own as a CSV. You approve the set. Split it by topic, by funnel stage, and into brand and non-brand prompts. Then you can see which topics and stages you are winning and losing.

What is a good AI visibility score?
There is no universal benchmark. A good score depends on your category, how many competitors you track and how broad your prompt set is. Two readings matter more than the absolute number: where you sit against the competitors you named, and which way your own line is moving. A lower score that climbs every week tells you more than a higher one that is slipping.
Can I just check my AI visibility once?
You can, and it is worth doing. A one-off check tells you where you stand today: which models name you and which name a competitor instead. That is a useful starting point, and it is how most teams first find out they have a problem.
What a single check cannot tell you is whether you are gaining or losing ground. It is a snapshot, and the answers change from one day to the next. A daily series is a trend. AIS Insights does not offer an instant checker. Your first scan is free: it runs your prompts on every model on your plan, and your trend builds from day one. If a snapshot is all you need, your first scan gives you that too.
Built for SEO and content teams.
Visibility tracking belongs with the teams that already own search. For SEO teams it is the same job in a new place: prompts instead of keywords, answers instead of rankings, and every score links to the answer behind it. For content teams it shows which topics AI already answers with you, and where it names someone else. That gap is the next brief. Agencies run the same tracking for every client, one workspace each.
AI visibility tracking, answered.
Which AI models do you track?
Up to seven, depending on your plan: ChatGPT, Claude, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity and Gemini. Every model on your plan is asked the same prompt set on the same day, so a gap between models is a real gap.
How often is my visibility checked?
Daily. Your full prompt set is re-asked across every model on your plan, every day, and each day's answers are scored and added to your trend. A daily cadence is frequent enough to catch real movement and stable enough to report against, which a one-off check cannot give you.
Can I see the answers behind a score?
Yes. Every score links to the answer behind it: what the model said, on which date, for which prompt. So you can check any number in a report.
How many prompts can I track?
It depends on your plan: 50 tracked prompts on Starter, 200 on Growth and 500 on Scale. Enterprise is unlimited.
Can I track visibility for more than one brand?
Yes. You can track several brands from one account, each with its own prompt set, competitor set and trend. Agencies get a workspace per client, so every client's visibility is tracked and reported separately. See AIS Insights for agencies for the multi-client setup.
Stop screenshotting. Start tracking.
Connect your brand, approve your prompts, and your trend builds daily from your first scan.
